The United States Constitution is a single document written in relatively plain language by brilliant men.
However, nothing has stirred more legal controversy in this country than how to interpret the Constitution.
Judge Robison is a strict constructionist who believes the power of government should be limited. His view of government echoes that of Ronald Reagan, who stated:
Judge Robison is committed to providing a courtroom with an even playing field where everyone is treated equally and with respect.
He believes in the Rule of Law, which means that each case will be decided on its merits and not because of a person's economic status, racial or ethnic background,
religious beliefs, political party affiliation or prior or existing personal relationships.
Public service is a privilege which must be honorably exercised. Those who have been blessed by a society have a duty to give back and serve the people of that society.
Luke 12:48 states:
As the current Judge of the 393rd District Court, Judge Robison has been entrusted with a great responsibility, and he strives every day to keep that trust.
And a judge has a special duty to help those who have not been blessed by our society. The Bible is replete with references of the duty to insure that justice is provided to the weak and the unfortunate. To quote a biblical passage:
Being compassionate and being conservative, being spiritual and being political, are not oxymoron's.
